Description
Located right next to the mountain station at Merano 2000, the Outdoor Kids Camp promises unforgettable fun for the entire family! There’s something here for every age – from toddlers to teens – while parents can relax on comfortable wooden loungers and soak up the breathtaking mountain views (as long as the kids let them :)).
Highlights include:
- Two ultra-fast looping slides
- Climbing walls, skill courses, bridges, and rope nets in a play area designed with wooden windbreaks for extra comfort
- A marble run with channels, funnels, cowbells, and fun obstacles – marbles can be purchased on-site for €2 and reused in other games
- Two large ground-level trampolines
- A spacious sandbox shaded by sun sails (don’t forget your sand toys!)
- Wooden loungers for grown-ups to relax
- Picnic tables and benches under sun canopies
- Numerous family-friendly hiking trails starting right nearby
- And don’t miss the Alpin Bob alpine coaster just around the corner!
How to get there:
Take the Merano 2000 cable car from the valley station in Naif/Meran or the Falzeben gondola from Avelengo (Hafling). We recommend the route from Merano – it’s easily accessible by public transport and the ride itself is a real highlight for kids (actual quote: “That cable car is big enough for a whole bus!”).
Ticket packages and current prices can be found on the Merano 2000 website.
The Outdoor Kids Camp at Merano 2000 is the perfect summer destination for a family day in the mountains – a unique experience that’s absolutely worth it.
Have fun!
