Located right in the village centre on Raiffeisen Square, the Schenna/Scena ice rink is a popular winter spot for families, children, and anyone looking to enjoy South Tyrol’s colder season. The 12 x 30 metre artificial ice surface offers plenty of space for easy, relaxed skating – perfect for beginners and young skaters.

Skates and helmets in various sizes can be rented on site. Around the rink you’ll find seating areas for resting and watching the action. A small refreshment stand serves warming drinks like mulled wine, coffee and hot chocolate, along with light snacks – the ideal stop during a winter outing.

Getting There from Merano

The ice rink is easy to reach via bus line 231 from Merano to Schenna/Scena (stop: Zentrum/Centre). Timetables are available in the Südtirol Mobil App.

If you arrive by car, use the village centre parking garage (directly beneath the rink) or the Baumann parking area behind the Schenna/Scena Tourist Office.
