A Hidden Gem for Families in South Tyrol
This playground is a true insider tip for families visiting South Tyrol. Nestled in the forest and still relatively unknown, it can be reached either by car (the access road is quite narrow) or on foot via a short hike.
Play Equipment & Highlights
Children can look forward to a wide range of activities:
- Unique double swings
- Traditional carousel
- Classic seesaw
- Small slide
- Long slide
- Boulder wall
- Large wooden climbing & balancing course
- Swings
- Sandbox
- Trampoline (available in the warmer months)
- Skittles and boccia lane
Our kids especially love the double swings, which are almost impossible to find on other playgrounds in South Tyrol. The carousel and seesaw require a little more strength than modern versions, but they’re always a big hit.
Take a Break at Gasthof Steinegger
The playground belongs to Gasthof Steinegger, and if you spend time here, the family truly appreciates if visitors stop in for a meal or refreshment afterwards. While prices are a little on the higher side, the view from the sun terrace is absolutely stunning.
